Light Up the Holidays took place on December 6th on the Main Street of Dalton, gathering the community together to celebrate the holidays, filling them with music, hot chocolate, and fun. This event has brought the community together to celebrate the start of the holiday season. The air was filled with the sounds of Wahconah Regional High School’s Mixed Choir and Concert Band, even though they often take center stage at Wahconah, they walked the streets of Dalton singing and playing Christmas carols. Excitement and joy continued to grow when community members gathered at the Dalton CRA gather to honor the night’s most special guests: Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Arriving on their magical sleigh with their excited elves and bringing the holiday spirit, they walked around to spread cheer all through the crowd. Light Up the Holidays marked the official beginning of the holidays in Dalton.
