Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that celebrates the victory of the Battle of Puebla, and is now celebrated mostly in the U.S and some places in Mexico. People celebrate it with family and friends gathering for parties and food.

Molé Poblano is labeled the official dish for Cinco de Mayo. It’s described as a dark, spicy sauce that is a combination of sweet and bitter and is served with either chicken or turkey.

Mexican Street Corn is another popular dish served on Cinco de Mayo. It’s corn with a mix of cream, cheese, and mayo. Lastly, one of the most popular dishes served is guacamole. It’s a popular dish during summer and is always included in the party with a bag of chips right next to it!
