You Can’t Take It With You takes place in the Upper West Side of New York City in 1936 in the crazy house of the Sycamore family. The Sycamores are a nutty bunch with hobbies ranging from raising snakes to making dolls of famous figures. Their daughter, Alice Sycamore, is in love with Tony Kirby, son of the head of Kirby & Co. But trouble starts brewing when Tony and Alice’s compatibility is questioned by the Kirby family after an ill-fated dinner party. So, sit back, relax, and step into the world of the crazy Sycamores as love and trust are tested between the two families.
