Curious about this year’s Grammys but didn’t get a chance to see it? This is the place for the highlights and winners of the 2022 Grammys!

For those who do not know, the Grammys is a music awards show held annually to promote and recognize artists of all ages and genres. The 2022 Grammys or the 64th annual Grammys happened on April 3, 2022, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was hosted by Trevor Noah, who also hosted the 63rd annual Grammys. With an overwhelming eighty-six different awards presented to select artists. The most notable awards are:

Record of the Year and Song of the Year were presented to Silk Sonic for their song “Leave The Door Open”

Album of the year presented to Jon Batiste’s album “We Are”

Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album presented to Olivia Rodrigo

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance presented to Doja Cat and SZA

These awards are only the most popular awards that were received that night. However, everyone who won and was nominated did a wonderful job and is indescribably talented.

Speaking of talent, live performances from Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, and Olivia Rodrigo were all terrific, to say the least. Jon Batiste, the Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Nas, and Chris Stapleton also performed in a different category and they had amazing execution of the songs they sang. Artists Ben Platt, Rachel Zegler, Cynthia Erivo, and Leslie Odom Jr. also sang at the Grammys, however, their performances were in memorial of American Composer and Lyricist, Stephen Sondheim, who died on November 26, 2021, of Cardiovascular Disease.
