As Wahconah Cheer’s fall season ended and the winter season began, they grew as a team and most importantly, as a family. They’ve proven their commitment again this year, placing top 5 in all three competitions that the team competed in, improving with every skill and stunt executed.
The Wahconah Cheerleaders are extremely helpful when pumping up the crowd during football games, and now, basketball games. The cheerleaders make the crowd excited for the game, creating a happy and encouraging environment and, of course, allowing everyone to feel the Warrior spirit. The halftime performances are even better. The cheerleaders quickly awaken the crowd and encourage our football and basketball players with even more positive energy and thrill.
Although the cheer team does love cheering at games, the team’s competition season is very different from what fans see on the sidelines. Competitions are filled with fun, but are also very intense. The cheerleaders bravely compete against the best teams in the state in order to push the team to their limits.
This winter season, they set high standards for the competition season. With the bond the team made over this past fall season, they work very well together. With these standards set, the cheer team expects a strong and exciting competition season.
