The legendary Zackary Schneider is set to graduate Wahconah Regional High School. Although his time here was limited to just four years, he’s been quoted as being “more than willing” to spend another year or two as a senior just to live the thrilling lifestyle of a student in our school.
Zack’s favorite parts of the school day are physical education and lunch. His antics within those classes have not failed to amuse us. Being a lethal three-point specialist in gym class, dominating ‘rap battles’ on the bus and the learning commons, devouring twenty-two bananas in one lunch period (many with the peel), he’s done it all!
However, when ‘on the record’ his accomplishments only continue. By participating in multiple programs such as quiz team and senior mentors, and this opens the door for more people to experience his greatness.
He dominates the fields of varsity football, ice hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. This past fall, he displayed a stunning performance as the starting goalie of the Warriors soccer team, despite never playing the sport prior to the season. He also earned a captaincy on the lacrosse and ice hockey team (Co-Op with Taconic).
The future is bright for the curly-haired, five-foot-ten gentleman as he heads off to college. The sky’s the limit for the man we call ‘Schnitz’ on occasion. Congratulations to Zackary, Class of 2025!
His brother, Max Schneider, who is in the tenth grade, hopes to carry the legacy that his brother held. But we all know that there will always be only one Zackary Schneider.
