The Wahconah Cross Country team had a very successful, regular season. They are now moving into the post season. This year, there are a lot of promising new runners joining the team, many of them making the varsity team and qualifying for the divisional meet in early November. On Sunday, October 9, the team was be at BCC for the Berkshire County Individual meet. On Sunday, October 26, they travelled to Stanley Park in Westfield for the Western Mass meet. Then, on Saturday, November 8, they will meet at Devons for the Divisional (state qualifier) meet. This year, the team celebrates five graduating seniors: Matty Beatty, Ryan Geoghan, Chris Hyatt, Natylee Martin, and Owen Tucker. When asked for a quote, coach Aaron Udel said, “Hurdle the dead, trample the weak.”
